Volunteering at St Anthony's
Be part of something special
Our volunteers are at the heart of our school community. When families and schools work together, children thrive, achieving more and staying engaged in their learning for longer (Growing Up in Australia: Longitudinal Study of Australian Children, 2007–2008).
At St Anthony’s, we warmly welcome the involvement of parents, carers, grandparents, and family friends. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your support makes a big difference.
There are many meaningful ways to get involved, including:
-
Supporting literacy and numeracy activities in the classroom
-
Listening to reading
-
Assisting on excursions
-
Joining the Parents & Friends group
-
Helping with school events
-
Acting as a Class Representative
-
Coaching or managing Saturday sports teams
-
Attending and assisting with liturgies and assemblies
-
Sharing your cooking skills
-
Joining the School Board
Have a special talent or idea? We’d love to hear from you!
