When Can My Child Start School?

We offer two Reception intakes per school year - at the start of the school year and an additional mid-year intake in Term 3.
Reception Intake, Term 1
- If your child turns 5 on or before 30 April, they are eligible to commence Reception in Term 1 of that year.
Reception Intake, Term 3
- If your child turns 5 on or before 31 October, they are eligible to commence Reception in Term 3 of that year.
- Children commencing in Term 3 will complete 6 terms of Reception.
Children who turn 5 years of age after October 31 will commence Reception at the beginning of the following year.
